Ten years ago, the northern lands of Karamarin witnessed an unimaginable catastrophe. And in their place, like a patch sewn onto the world's torn canvas, alien lands appeared. Lands unknown to bards or mapmakers—a landscape burning with an unnatural crimson beneath a sky frozen in eternal radiance. Thus, the very first patch from another world appeared. But it arrived not alone, bringing with it unspeakable creatures and magic shards.
