About This Game

You are the Commander - Start off with a small group of troopers and build your army. Win encounters to gain rewards. Spend rewards to collect troopers, or discover Printers to make your own! Collect perks and other assets along the way. Experience each unique room as it is revealed by your reconnaissance. Gain small footholds and develop them into larger, defensible bases. Build and maintain roads and resource income to ensure attrition does not halt your advance. After all, tactics win battles, but logistics win wars, Soldier!

Your big brother is grinning at you as you look up from your handful of troopers and the adjoining "rulebook", which still has a cheeky red bow Scotch-taped to its front. He has set all this up for you as one big birthday gift -- A Campaign for which he will be the Dungeon Master -- but you get the sense that there is something more to it as well. He wants to see how you perform. After all, you wanted some of his collection, right? Well now you have the chance to earn it.

Build Your Collection

The enemy forces are countless. To have any hope of victory you must increase your numbers. Troopers are the bread & butter of your force, but there are plenty of... Jams? Tanks, planes and trains are just some of the things you may obtain. Augment the abilities of your entire forces, or specific units, with the collection of Perks! Steer your production into the units that work best for you and your strategy.

Wage War on Multiple Levels

Deploy your units and designate tactics to win encounters. As you bulldoze your way through the enemy, don't expect them to sit idly by. Enemy forces will coalesce for Room Combat at set intervals, in which you must defend your bases, moving whole companies between footholds and claiming new ground when able. Small gains from encounters can add up to big advantages when the bell tolls!

Explore rooms and claim objectives. Determine the priority of different points of interest for your personal Strategy. You don't have all the time in the world, after all. The enemy forces grow stronger with each turn of the board. Make sure you have a plan for what you pursue!

Thwart the Chipper Regime

Expunge the evil Chipper armies room by room. Discover their origins and intentions along the way. All these enemy forces must be coming from somewhere, after all. Reinforce your points of control to prevent retaliatory strikes from erasing your progress. Gain bonuses for maintaining full room control and defeating Chipper Lieutenants.
