"Haru Akinashi" is a servile office worker who lacks self-confidence and is no good at anything he does.

After sleeping in the last train, he finds himself trapped in a strange place called ``Saihate Station'' where horrific and mysterious phenomena occur.

"Shion Tatsunami", a bright and talented colleague and former friend who is in contrast to the protagonist, also happens to be there, and they promise to cooperate and return together.
