“Beatblock is a large undertaking by a small team, and while we've been making things work so far we still need to explore what works for us in terms of charting and visual style! Since we're a rhythm game with an unconventional format, an Early Access launch lets us see feedback so we can stabilize our chart design and learn what works. ”

“We plan to be in Early Access for around a year, and ideally reach our intended scope for the full version by November/December 2026. That brings our song list from the initial 27 to a whopping 40+ songs!”

“Most of the differences between Early Access and the full game will be content-focused. That means new songs, costumes, and expansion of other modes such as the Marathon mode! Beatblock is a headspinning rhythm game with a simple goal: hit blocks to the beat as the paddle-wielding Cranky. The song revolves around you, and it's your job to keep up. Twist your way through a variety of tracks, hone your skills with different block types, and groove to the music!

Meet the Atom Map, your guide to the beats and blocks you'll face. Start with the Intro to pick up the basics, then twirl through four different block types to get the hang of things! Every single song has its own unique visuals and style, so there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Once you've mastered the mechanics, you'll be ready for the Challenge levels- where block types get combined, and experts are forged. Push your endurance even further in the Marathon mode against a back-to-back selection of songs and maybe discover the unknown...

Put your creative skills to work with the built-in level editor, the same tool our development team uses for the main game's levels. Chart to your favorite songs, and take advantage of the editor's robust effects & functions to let the music shine!
