Why Early Access?

“This game is still being worked on and needs polishing before being released. As we work on the game we want to get the game out to people to play to help find bugs. We would also like for people to give us feedback on what they like and don't like so we can make this game better.”

“We plan to release it before the end of 2026.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more sound effects and music to the game. If needed we will try to optimize the game to improve performance on lower-end machines.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable but might have a few bugs. In Counting Spices, the player can explore the farm, complete puzzles, and collect the six spice bottles. Mechanics include rotating and picking up specific objects, talking to two NPCs, walking, and jumping. In addition to potential bugs, this game lacks sound effects and music as it only has one background song.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community can join our Discord and message us their found issues or thoughts on the game in the appropriate channel or leave a review on Steam. Our Discord channel can be found on the Steam store page for Counting Spices.”
