Miksi Early Access?

We've chosen to make Seedborne Soldiers available via early access so we can gather feedback about the game and continue to refine it.

Seedborne Soldiers will be in Early Access for at least a year. We have a small team and anticipate a long development cycle with lots of iteration. Strap in!

The final version will feature:
-Unlockable difficulty levels (eg, post-run progression)
-Run-to-run trait variation on some units
-Refined, easier-to-scan UI, including updates to tooltips, right-click info, and more

-More Ruins

The demo version of the game contains only the first of three Maps, while the Early Access version will contain all three.

The Early Access version is on track to launch Q4 2025.

Seedborne Soldiers will launch in Early Access at a reduced price. Once the Early Access period ends, the final version will cost a bit more. A free demo will continue to be available.

We welcome feedback as it will help us make our game better. Furthermore, we plan to leverage metrics to help balance the game. However, we have a strong vision of what we want to deliver from which we will not deviate. We reserve the right to use or ignore community feedback as we see fit.

Seedborne Soldiers is an auto battler roguelike presented in the sweet, nostalgic style of a low-polygon 90s game.

Draft a team from a pool of 75 (!) characters pulled from across the cosmos, and fight to escape dangerous Dreamworld.

Mix and match from a huge selection of Traits, Trinkets, and upgradeable Equipment to capitalize on powerful synergies and overcome unique enemies and bosses.

Pick your battles and plan your path with care.

Each round, choose a fight based on its difficulty and rewards. You can survive a few losses, but too many mean game over. Should you chase the loot to build your dream team, or just try to survive?

Field units with matching traits to power up your team
Collect 3 copies of a unit to combine them into a level 2 (9 total copies make a level 3)
Draft 5 tiers of units; higher tiers are more powerful but rarer and costlier
Upgrade equipment and collect trinkets to maximize your team’s potential
Conquer 3 Maps filled with 30+ enemies (plus a variety of non-combat encounters), each capped by a deadly boss

Each character has a unique Spell, and many have an additional unique Effect.

Use the map to navigate away from bad RNG into broken combos.

Peek at the Traits of upcoming units, collect items which help find matches, and utilize the Harvest system at Shelters to shore up your team. The map system is designed to give you agency to pursue your build without sacrificing those glorious highroll moments.

Double-casting Sages, loot-loving Nobles, or item-wary Ascetics… Dreamworld is your oyster!
