«With Drum Revolution, we have created an absolutely new and innovative product in which the unique control of a character with a drum kit works great.

And after months of testing in schools, we are also sure that anyone can learn to play drums with Drum Revolution and that the game is great fun.

We are currently planning numerous new features and game modes, some of which are already in development or testing, and are now looking forward to the feedback and wishes of the community in order to adapt Drum Revolution even better to the needs of our players.

For example, several features and modes are currently in development or testing:

The "Pinball Mode" - where the character rolls in and bounces through the levels when the player plays very fast
The "Crash-Feature" - in which the character can break through obstacles with the crash cymbal.
The completely new "Drum Runner Mode"- where the character is steered from left to right on a drum tab.
As well as a matching "Flying Mode" - where the character takes off when the game is played particularly smoothly

We want to finalise all these modes and features and many more with the involvement of our players.»

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

«We are planning an early access phase of around 3-6 months. As the core of the product is already finished and many other modes and features are already in testing or development, we don't expect to need any longer to finalize the full price version.»

«In addition to the "Drum Jumper" mode, the full version will probably also include the "Drum Runner" mode, as well as many other features such as a flying mode and moving level elements for practicing rhythm and timing. Players will be able to learn many grooves and fills in the full version, improve their timing and learn the preliminary stage of notes with the drum tablature. The learning content of the full version of Part 1 will be roughly equivalent to 1-2 years of music school lessons.»

Hva er nåværende tilstand for versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«The "Drum Jumper" mode is currently fully playable and numerous grooves and fills can be learnt. The game has already been tested weekly for months in schools, youth clubs and daycare centers and is running smoothly. We are therefore absolutely certain that Drum Revolution is not only incredibly fun to play, but that anyone can learn to play drums easily, quickly and effectively with Drum Revolution.»

Vil spillet være priset annerledes under og etter tidlig tilgang?

«Yes, everyone who purchases the game now in Early Access will receive the game at a significantly lower price than the full version will cost later.»

Hvordan planlegger dere å involvere samfunnet i utviklingsprosessen?

«During the early access phase, we want to build on our weekly tests with schools, daycare centers and youth clubs that have been running for months. These tests have already eliminated most of the bugs and we are absolutely certain that Drum Revolution is a lot of fun and that anyone can learn to play drums very quickly and effectively.
Over the next few months, we're looking forward to receiving all kinds of feedback and will use it to adapt the game even better to the wishes of our players. We want to find out which features and game content our players really want and where they would like to have the opportunity to hone their drumming skills in more detail.
Users can give feedback on the game directly from within Drum Revolution or report bugs if they find any.»
