Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« We at WOMBEX Games highly value our Player's feedback. Our philosophy relies on providing the best games possible, in their best shape possible, based on the feedback of the majority of Players. We belive that in the current state of the game we couldn't achieve this goal if we don't release Bass Defense as an Early Access game. There are some balancing issues hanging in the air which we couldn't fine-tune without the feedback of a larger playerbase. We also need some time to balance and polish Overcharge and Fingerton game modes till the v1.0 release of Bass Defense; as we had put more emphasis on Soundwave mode before Early Access. »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« We plan to release Bass Defense v1.0 within 6 months (Q1 2025), ideally within 3 months (Q4 2024) after the Early Access release date (19 Aug 2024). »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« We release Bass Defense as Early Access with one game mode (Soundwave), 20 levels and 5 power-ups. In the v1.0 full version, we'd like to add Bass Defense two additional game modes (Overcharge and Fingerton), some new levels and 4 additional power-ups. Until the release of the full version, we'd like to collect as much feedback as possible, to be able to iron mostly our power-up mechanics and balance out and to add details to some of the levels. Please note that we might also reset savegames if any update requires that. »

Quel est l'état actuel de la version en accès anticipé ?

« The core game mechanisms of Bass Defense, including the rhythm controllers, score and rank systems for all 20 levels of Soundwave mode are 95% done. We'd like to improve and balance these core game mechanisms first. Then, we want to turn our focus on balancing Overcharge and Fingerton modes, fill every level with small details, along with the general improvements need to be done. »

Le prix du jeu sera-t-il différent pendant et après l'accès anticipé ?

« After Early Access, yes. We'd like to reward our early supporters by offering them Bass Defense for a lower price. Their feedback during Early Access is invaluable, so we'd like to appreciate them and their support somehow. This way, we can provide them better value for their hard-earned money. Also, since the full game will feature additional game modes, levels and added power-ups, price will slightly increase after Early Access for Players who don't purchase the early version but only the final game. »

« Our main communication platforms are the official Bass Defense Steam Community Hub, where we will monitor our Player's feedbacks daily and provide progress announcements on a weekly basis; and our Discord server, where we also discuss the state of Bass Defense with our Community every day. Soundwave mode

In this game mode, your objective is to save your base by using your upgradable - defensive or offensive - power-ups or your sense of rhythm. You have to be careful though - overusing your offensive power-ups might take you out of rhythm!

Soundwave mode
In this game mode, your objective is to save your base by using your upgradable - defensive or offensive - power-ups or your sense of rhythm. You have to be careful though - overusing your offensive power-ups might take you out of rhythm!

Overcharge mode
In this game mode, your objective is to save your base by charging your turrets with energy in real-time.

  • 'tower defense'-like gameplay
  • you must hit the correct buttons in time with the music to charge the energy level of your automated turrets to clear your NMYs
  • close-up view
  • rhythm complexity, quantity and speed of NMYs vary by difficulty

Fingerton mode
Use only one finger ... a ton ... welcome to Fingerton!
In this game mode, your fastest finger tries to humiliate the quickest gunslingers'.

  • rhythm-focused gameplay
  • timing is everything - you must hit your favourite button in time with the music to clear your NMYs
  • top-down view
  • 'a ton' of speedy NMYs
    • don't try this at home - Hard mode exclusively, challenging even for the most experienced rhythm-veterans
