Why Early Access?

“We want to make sure Tamer: King of Dinosaurs provides the best possible gameplay experience by allowing the Steam community to play the first of three intended narrative acts and provide valuable feedback before we complete the next two.

This will allow us to focus on improving current gameplay mechanics that need adjustment in design and execution and also potentially implement new features that are heavily requested by players, such as additional survival elements, new combat mechanics, improved romance scenes, etc.

We want to make the game players want, and involving the community in the evolution of its design as we work towards completion will allow us to do that.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We hope to finish production of Tamer: King of Dinosaurs by Q4 2026 (approximately 4 months post-EA launch), but if the community requests additional features we could realistically extend production until Q1 2027 to significantly change and improve the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of the game will contain acts 2 and 3 of the game. Players will be able to enjoy the entire story of Tamer: King of Dinosaurs along will all of the content that comes with it.

- More romance scenes

13 romance scenes between 5 female characters with at least 5 fully animated, 360 viewable animations positions with finishing sequences for each are intended for the full release.

Additional Plot

- A total of five and a half hours of full body performance captured cutscenes.

- More action

Expect many more chases, races, quests and enemy encounters in the overworld in the new acts.

- Improved combat

We hope to adjust the melee combat in the game in terms of complexity, challenge, and enemy variety and behavior based on community feedback.

- New modules

Features heavily requested by players will be designed, implemented and added as long as it's within the team's potential scope, capability and production budget.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version of the game contains the first of its intended three acts, fully playable from start to finish. Act 1 provides plenty to enjoy with the total amount increasing if you decide to complete all of the side quests.

It contains some bugs, but thus far we've found none that should ultimately prevent the player from progressing. Our team will be on standby and working daily to fix any major crashes discovered and provide update reports on what has been fixed.

Act 1 is also the largest overall and contains all of the game's current core experiences such as cutscenes, combat, romance scenes (for 3/5 characters), crafting, chase and race sequences, etc.

Essentially, it gives players a full picture of the game's current design so they can provide feedback and all of the currently intended content and allow us to expand it based on their ideas and engagement.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game's price will not change once we finish Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We've had great discussions in the Steam forums during the release of our demo and have already addressed questions with our beta build. We intend to take player feedback seriously and modify the game as we go to make it the best possible experience.

Ride the Lion Studios also hopes to host live streams where we listen to the community and get feedback on the game and discuss ways to improve it.”

Four unique love interests await you in Tamer: King of Dinosaurs. Since Tamer: King of Dinosaurs is a harem game, you won’t have to worry about picking just one. All four women will fall in love with you as long as you complete the dating sim respect quests, and they do not have a problem sharing you with the others.

Play as Victor Shelby, a Los Angeles animal control officer abducted by aliens and stranded on a deadly dinosaur planet where he must help a group of beautiful alien women survive. With nearly 6 hours of full-body cinematic performance capture and 28 "days" of in-game action, Tamer: King of Dinosaurs offers a gripping story filled with adventure, an engaging story, and fully explicit romance.

Craft and upgrade weapons like spears, clubs and axes to engage dinosaurs in brutal melee combat with your hunting partner, Sheela. Utilize the adrenaline system to unleash special attacks and even special over-the-top, gore-filled executions.

Tame dinosaurs and ride them across the map, encountering deadly apex predators and other dangerous dinosaurs that will hunt and chase you down. Don't just run - fight for your life with your spear, bow and arrows to escape certain death.

Sheela, the Huntress.

This stoic cat-like woman is skilled in combat and understands the dangers of this world. She’ll join you on most of your quests, help you build weapons, and provide you with combat training.

Galmine, the Gardener.

This beautiful woman has the sweetest personality you could imagine, and she loves to grow her vegetables and herbs. She’ll offer uplifting advice and provide you with recipes for food, potions, and anything else plant related.

Trel-Idil-Iria, Duchess of Family Iria, the Builder.

Trel is the most important, intelligent, and beautiful person in her world, and she’ll remind you of this every chance she gets. Despite her haughty personality, she really is a genius. Once you win her over, she’ll help you craft tools and build the fort.

Kacerie, the Stylist.

Pink haired and sassy, Kacerie comes from a world with slightly more advanced technology than our Earth. She doesn’t want to be on this planet, but that’s understandable. Once she forms a strong relationship with you, she’ll be able to help you with all the cosmetic nuances of women’s outfits and the new fort.
