About This Game

Embark on thrilling turn-based battles in VEIL: Tactics, where realism meets fantasy in a fractured future. Step into the shoes of a commander, leading a squad of operatives through challenging missions to save all of Humanity. And Elvenity. And Dwarfinity. And a bunch of other 'nities.

As a solo developer, I've poured my passion into this project. This is an AI -heavy game where art, music, and characters will be one way or another created or modified by an AI. This Steam page will also serve as my blog documenting the development journey. You can find the blogs themselves from the discussion forum.

Inspired by games such as Gloomhaven, XCom, and Slay the Spire

Not only does the game feature heavy usage of AI from art to music, it also allows the player to create truly custom characters via the use of generative AI. Create your own characters with a prompt like: " equipped with specialized in wearing " The AI will create character image, background story, unique font, theme music, and also the whole set of ability cards. That's the goal, anyway.
