Wozu Early Access?

„Early access is a great place to gather mass feedback from the players and not just for bug fixing. Some key feedback on the level design, quest design and other technical aspects are needed so that we may deliver a final product tailored to the player base we want to provide to. With this information, we can plan and update the game accordingly with the players in mind right up to the full release.

More specifically, we also want to release Dog Walking Adventures to the players in its current state so that we know what, if anything, needs final adjustments. Other than that we will essentially be releasing more content and building on what we already have.

We also want to hear players ideas! If anyone who plays Dog Walking Adventures has a really good idea, we may want to implement that.“

Wie lange wird dieses Spiel ungefähr den Early Access-Status haben?

„Dog Walking Adventures early access is planned for the 22nd January 2025. We plan for Dog Walking Adventures to have a full release towards the beginning of May 2025, giving us about three months of early access. At the end each month is planned a major update, like new maps, new dogs, etc. While in the middle of each month, space has been made for smaller patches such as bug fixes.“

Wie soll sich die Vollversion von der Early Access-Version unterscheiden?

„The full version of Dog Walking Adventures is planned to have:
- Six maps to explore.
- Twelve dogs to unlock and walk.
- Eight toys to unlock and use.
- Unique puzzles throughout all six maps.
- Eighteen quests spread across all six maps to complete.
- Several 'journal entries' to collect (Final number not planned yet).

We would also like to add a camera app feature for the phone mechanic, which allows players to tale selfies with their dog. Along with an emote button that plays an emote animation for both the players character and the dog.“

Was ist der derzeitige Stand der Early Access-Version?

„Currently the early access version of Dog Walking Adventures has:
- Three maps to explore.
- Four dogs to unlock and walk.
- Four toys to unlock and use.
- Five puzzles spread across the current three maps.
- Seven quests to complete across all three maps.
- Thirteen journal entries to collect across all three maps.

The main gameplay of walking and interacting with your dog is fairly polished/ finished. But this is liable to change depending on the feedback received by the players. Currently you can walk, play fetch, pick up and pet your dog.

The player can also use their phone to check current objectives and check the journals they have collected so far.“

Wird dieses Spiel während und nach Early Access unterschiedlich viel kosten?

„The plan is to start lower than the initial planned price at the release of early access, and increase the price to the initial planned price when the game launches at full release. We are not going to gradually raise the price during early access.“

Wie werden Sie versuchen die Community in den Entwicklungsprozess miteinzubeziehen?

„In-game there is quite an obvious feedback button that will prompt the player if they would like to join the community Dog Walking Adventures discord, or if they would like to leave feedback on an early access form. The discord features a feedback channel that players can post feedback into. The discord, along with our other social media, will also keep the community up to date on the changes we make and the updates we push.“
