About This Game

ABOUT MINERAL

Mineral is a minimalist zen puzzle game, designed as a relaxing but challenging experience, taking you through 5 unique realms, with varying levels of difficulty, challenge and mechanics.

In Mineral you control a physics bound energy orb; collecting energy crystals to unlock portals to new levels and these unique realms, each level has its own selection of secrets and collectables to gather to maximise your orb’s energy levels.

Each environment is designed with a minimalist neon setting, each realm providing its own take and setting. Play across these 5 unique realms, along with extra challenge levels to test your skill and control.

With relaxing and ambient music crafted by Beatscribe to immerse yourself further into each realm.

KEY FEATURES

Physics based ball control, the ball will react to the slightest control and require precision movement, acceleration and deceleration to traverse each level.
An enchanting soundtrack to blend in with each unique realm.
A grounded, simplistic, minimalist art style with just an overdose of neon!

THERE MAY BE SECRETS…

Each level features collectables and some feature additional secrets to unlock.
Levels can be replayed with additional features upon completion of the initial playthrough!

ABILITIES

Unlocking abilities will allow you to reach secrets and complete more challenging puzzle levels, there are 3 main ability states.

DAWN
This power improves your traversal throughout levels with the ability to climb Dawn Walls and Jump using the Action Key/Button.

DUSK
This power allows you to reveal Etheric Dusk platforms and objects throughout the level, with this power active you can also turn the Dusk platforms physical, moving over them to reach previously out of reach areas.

MIDNIGHT
The ball now has the ability to Speed Boost, using the Action Key/Button, this allows you to make jumps and improve your level completion time.

COMPLETING LEVELS

Completing levels is simple, reach the End Portal!

END PORTAL
The End Portal for most levels requires you to collect Portal Gems in order to power it. The amount of gems varies level to level.

Some End Portals are at the far end of levels, whilst others will have you return to them once you have the gems to power them.

PORTAL GEMS
Portal gems are a distinct feature across Mineral, these mysterious pink gems, fractured with glowing energy are the only power source to enable End Portals and progress.

Obtaining the Portal Gems is a key part of the puzzle of each level but other obstacles, logic and pathfinding also stand in your way.
