About This Game

Hear the call of adventure and riches in a high stakes expedition across the known world!

By force of arms or lucrative trade, create the most feared and celebrated company of privateers on the high seas. Serve under the banner of your chosen empire and expand your territory port by port.

From your humble beginnings as commander of just a few vessels, grow your army of corsairs, and through victory command ever larger fleets of ships across vast open-ended maps. As master strategist, establish trade routes, plunder, capture, or destroy any adversaries that get in your way.

Many would gladly see you and your men sink to the bottom of the bay! On your adventure be on the lookout for ships of competing nations with similar aspirations. In turn you may also find opportunities to outwit and defeat enemies such as mighty pirates, and perhaps dabble in a little piracy yourself if it suits your fancy…

As your power grows, and you rule the seas, you call the shots!

  • Corsairs Gold includes both Corsairs: Conquest at Sea, and the Corsairs: The New Conquerors Expansion, which adds 2 new campaigns, and 21 new missions!
  • Raise the flags of 4 different nations, choose which empire you represent: France, England, Spain, or Holland. Each nation features unique story modes, objectives, and capabilities.
  • Experience historical recreations of locations, vessels, and renditions of historical figures.
  • Try the open-ended "Adventure" mode for a quick skirmish against enemy factions.
  • Manage large trade networks, engage in ship-to-ship combat, and coordinate raiding and looting missions.
