為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「The game is 60% complete and playable. Player feedback would be greatly appreciated. I welcome constructive criticism. The story is already fully planned and set in stone but there is a lot of space for fine tuning and improvement.」

這款遊戲的搶先體驗時間大約會持續多久？

「I release on a "when it's ready" basis and would have a hard time giving an accurate estimation. The development started in the second half of 2019 and with about 300,000 words of content, the game is now 60 % complete. Most of the content is definitive. The game will spend a few years in early access as the amount of content that has yet to be implemented is massive. I don't expect it to be finished before 2027/2028.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「As of May 2024, the story has reached the evening of Day 6. The whole story is already planned and the final version should go up to the morning of Day 9. The game already includes 15 different paths out of the 18 routes planned and I intend to give each path its own unique ending.
You can reasonably expect the final version to be twice as big, content-wise. Improvements in the UI department and several additional features are also planned.」

搶先體驗版目前的開發進度如何？

「As of May 2024, the game contains about 300,000 words of content (for the sake of comparison, that's as many words as a volume of ASOIAF) and 6000 images. 15 paths (out of the 18 planned) are available. Two paths have reached their conclusions. Some parts of the early days have to be reworked in order to bring the overall quality up, but most of the content is definitive.」

遊戲售價在搶先體驗期間前後會有所變動嗎？

「At release, the full game will be sold at a higher price tag.」

在開發過程中，您打算如何與社群互動？

「The Naughty Captain's Discord channel is open to all and is the best place to engage with the community, discuss the game, and get some hints about the coming content. I publish a weekly "Dev Update" in which I talk about the development of the game, the progress, and eventual difficulties. Transparency is the basis of trust. I think it's important.」
