The story of Cyoube is entirely driven by the voice-over of Norman, complemented with subtitles. It features little to no written texts, only written words depicting ideas there and there.

Cyoube is fully playable with a gamepad or mouse and keyboard. The difficulty can be adapted as platforms offer various ways to walk through the game, more or less demanding.
