Why Early Access?

“Working alone on a project is a massive undertaking and Early Access will help me push forward and support me developing this while helping me understand what players want and expect from the full release and pitch in ideas and criticism.

I want Yark Survivors to be the best it can be, and while there is a stable foundation that is fun to play alone and with friends, there can definitely be additions and improvements to turn it into a more full experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“This is difficult to gauge at this early stage but i definitely want it near the finish line within 2 years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Lacking features like permanent upgrades, classes and class progression along with better and interactive environments and more spells and spell combos are all things one can expect!

Ofcourse i will closely listen to the community and see what players would want too.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the game allows you to attempt and fight through 3 enemy types each with their own boss and a final boss of each run, using a set of 16 different powerful stackable skills and passives to beat said enemies and bosses!

You can also bring up to 3 friends for 4 player co-op to increase your chances for success!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Pricing will not change during Early Access, early adopters will be able to enjoy the game at fixed price until the game leaves early access with 1.0! After Early Access the game will get a mark up in price, but we still plan keeping it cheap!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Everyone is welcome in the discord to voice their ideas and complaints alike, i value every bit of information that would make the game great!”
