A roguelike deckbuilder where you create the dungeon you fight through. Each night use your cards to expand the ruins then battle through them, harvesting Glimour from the lost souls and improving your deck. Can you reach The Warden and defeat it, so that The Maiden will grant your heart’s desire?

This demo is roughly 5 months work from a team of 3, so it's not finished yet and you might find some bugs. We hope you enjoy this wee slice and we'd love to hear your feedback.

In the Scottish Highlands legends tell that those whose hearts harbour unfulfilled desire - the kind of need that can’t be sated by earthly means - will be approached by a kindly Maiden. In return for helping with her harvest, she will make them whole.

Into the Restless Ruins is a roguelike deckbuilder. Use your deck of cards, representing rooms and corridors, to grow the labyrinth of the ruins. Then auto-battle your way through them, harvesting as much Glimour as you can from the cursed residents before darkness overcomes your torch.

Earn favours from the Harvest Maiden, find Relics to trade with the Hen Wife and Wulver to upgrade and curate your deck, and hope you are strong enough to face The Warden when you can finally reach it.

The Full Game Features

Dynamic Deck and Dungeon Building. Discover a large variety of rooms and corridors, and work out the best ways to use them to beat the ruins. Earn favour with The Maiden to be blessed with new cards, and interact with characters you find in the ruins to modify your deck further.
Discover Room Synergies. Rooms aren’t just big square corridors, they have uses. Think hard about where you place campfires, armouries, portals, graveyards, libraries, and dozens more, as each will change your approach to the harvest.
Huge Replayability. Because you’re building the ruins, each run is unique with a different layout, new challenges to overcome, and new shortcuts to use. Discover ghostly echoes trapped in the ruins and decide their fate, be blessed with dozens of passive Charms, and discover new weaponry. And after you've defeated The Warden once, try again with new rule-changing modifiers, in new level layouts, and unlock new cards to your drop pool.
