The Köln - Aachen high speed railway is part of the Trans-European transport network with Line speeds up to 250 km/h. The route is steeped in history, from its heavily debated original concept to the landmarks and bridges making up the surrounding landscape. Explore the wonderful Burtscheid Viaduct, historic triangle truss Dreigurtbrücke, and the Köln skyline including the beautiful cathedral.

Running at such incredible speeds is the stylish and modern ICE 3M, this state-of-the-art high-speed EMU is able to run cross-border expresses between Brussels and Frankfurt, via Köln, shrinking European journey times and linking cities, countries and cultures together.
