„Although Ruins of Endoth has been in development for some time, it is not a full-time endeavour up to this point and is funded by another job. This obviously affects the speed of development and as such releasing into EA will allow me to focus on bringing the game to market sooner.
I also hope that player feedback will help shape the game into something beyond what I originally designed as I will use comments from the community to guide mechanic tuning, world building, balancing and new features.“

„I would anticipate the game to be in Early Access for 9 - 18 months, depending on the amount of gameplay features we settle on for the full release and the scope of those features.
This will be largely driven by player feedback and reviews so I can ensure the full release is a satisfying and value-for-money product.“

„We plan to add more quest and contract types, more enemies and item types, a full campaign, more diversity in maps and of course bug-smashing and optimisation.“

„The EA versions of the game have a gameplay loop consisting of the core features to begin with:
Character stats and levels, starting area and tutorial, Some quests and campaign progression, 6 - 10 enemy types, multiple hand-crafted dungeons, procedurally generated dungeons and overland maps, randomised loot, 6 - 8 weapon types, 4 - 10 armour types, some skills, some magic abilities, Contracts, Save/Load functionality“
