Chained Runes is a deckbuilding game with runes that focuses on reflection and anticipation.
Place them as best you can in your chain to optimize their effects. Analyze your opponents and anticipate their actions to move forward.
Discover the different runes, abilities and talents, and create an optimized deck to defeat all the Gormnoqs in your path and reach the king.

Strategic battles, rich in possibilities

Get your brain working. Chained Runes requires a good dose of reflection, anticipation and analysis.
Battles revolve around 3 elements:

• Runes: the game's main mechanic, place them in your chain to play their effects successively.
  
• Abilities: allow you to play an effect instantly, available only 1x per turn.
  
• Talents: Passives that play effects when their trigger's condition occurs.

Find synergies to optimize your turns and unleash your true power.

Customize your Codex

Choose 3 Arcanes from the 5 available.
Each Arcane specializes in one aspect of the battle system (Offensiveness, Survival, Wounds, Aura, Runes) and has its own set of associated runes, abilities and talents.
Mix and match as you want to play the way that suits you best.

Unexpected encounters

Scour the lair's 3 floors, encountering a variety of wacky Gormnoqs room after room.
Be on the lookout for special encounters scattered around each floor. Chests, tougher enemies and much more.

Take up the challenge!

The King is not so easily approached. Don't expect to gain power with every defeat.
Discover and learn everything you can do in Chained runes. Optimize what you've learned to go further and further.
The game has a fixed difficulty, so it's up to you to master it enough to see it through.

• The game is made with a very small team. The English localization is not done by a professional third party, so expect approximations and mistakes... . Sorry about that.
