We want to use the opportunity provided by Early Access to make it not just our game, but your game. It is the late 21st century. The world is dying, consumed by unchecked capitalism and technology run amok. Beset by genetic horrors, biological warfare, and a collapsing ecosystem, humanity struggles to find a way to survive. You are one of the survivors, a so-called Newborn, immune to the most devastating plague in the history of man–the Von Aegis Syndrome (VAS). You and your fellow Newborn may yet rebuild the world - if you can survive against nature, mutants, and the sinister AXIOM, which will stop at nothing to maintain its grip on power in this crumbling world.

Rise of The Newborns is a complex online sandbox RPG, where you fight for hope and the future - starting with survival. Find food, build shelter, craft tools and weapons. Then defend yourself against the monstrous Aegisborn, mutated victims of disease, before bringing the fight to AXIOM and discovering the true origins of VAS.

The Dark Future of Man: Enter a dark era where human history is at the risk of ending permanently. Cross desolate, polluted wastelands, overgrown towns where humans have gone extinct, and crumbling cities, monuments to the past glory of mankind as you try to build a new future across a vast and constantly growing game map.
Complex Survival Mechanics: Experience the struggle for survival as you hunt and fish wildlife for food, try to kickstart agriculture, and build shelter to stay warm. Everything out there is dangerous - and healing will require surgery, overcoming infections. A sophisticated injury and health system means wrong decisions can and will kill you.

Brutal High-Stakes Combat: In this hostile world, you will face more than just wildlife. Aegisborn mutants, crack AXIOM operatives, remotely operated drones, and military-grade robots; every enemy has its own strengths, weaknesses, and facing them means engaging in brutal combat with everything you have. Every fight can be your last.

Robust Crafting Systems: In a world where goods are scarce, you'll have to make your own gear - unless you want to go toe to toe with drones and AXIOM soldiers. Craft weapons, ammunition, clothes, gear, everything you need to wage war on those who would rather see humanity die, than their profits decrease.

Gear, Lots of Gear: Equip your survivor using a vast number of upgradeable, customizable items, including clothing for survival, armor for protection, and a broad range of weapons. From the most primitive improvised clubs and flimsy bows to futuristic weapons created at the end of the 21st century, use everything you have in order to survive in this brutal world.

VAS Infection Mechanics: Just because the Newborn are immune, doesn't mean regular humans are. A dynamic infection system means the disease will spread among survivors and it's up to you to manage their symptoms and look for a cure. Use rapid testing kits to identify those infected, then make hard choices when it comes to saving their lives.
Dystopian Storyline: Dynamic sandbox gameplay is framed by a dark, dystopian storyline. Advance the fight against AXIOM and figure out the origin of VAS in bespoke quests which can be completed on your own or with your friends as allies, facing a hostile world side by side.
