What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We need feedback for the game. We are a 2-person team working part-time on this game. We make this game because we love co-op economic sims, which we think there's not enough of them on the market. We think that putting it on early access can help gather feedback from interested players which we can then improve on the game before its final release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“1 year. The timing will change based on the number of interests, ideas and feedback that we may get during early-access.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version should have enough variety for the ISP consumers (50+ floor/resident types) and networking/server equipment (50+ different types).

In addition, it should also have other interesting mechanics such as malicious users (i.e., hackers, scammers), alternative ways to make money (i.e., cryptocurrency mining, modding the power meter, extortion). The final game should have at least 5 of such interesting mechanics excluding the core game-play loop.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“It has 5+ different floor types and 5+ devices to choose from.

A rogue-like mechanism is also in-place where every N-days a number of different proposals is presented to the player(s), which can have positive/negative effects on their run.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, we plan to increase the price of the game. This is to be fair for the early-access players.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players are most welcome to share their feedback or bugs they encounter during early-access either on the community page or by emailing to support@pocosia.com.

We are only 2 person and may miss out some tests and ideas. Any feedback is welcomed.”

About This Game

Tower Networking Inc is a blend of simulation and economic-strategy with rogue-like elements. Physically connect your clients to your networks by patching cables into switches, routers and data risers. Run an internet service provider in a tower that keeps building random floors. Each new floor comes with unique residences and/or offices that naturally has a variety of different needs.

As the network operator, you are tasked to provide connectivity and various IT related services to the residents in the tower on a limited budget. Your board of directors have a strict policy where you must never go over-budget or face termination from your role. Additionally, some of your clients have service level agreements (SLA) and you must ensure their internet connection (and the services they need) stays up. If any of them files a complaint, then its game-over!.

Your goal is to ensure your internet service provider runs as long as possible.
