Effective Immediately is a gritty, sci-fi future on the verge of political change. As the sole position of travel in the galaxy you must decide who to accept or decline passage to. Encounter alien denizens and walk the line of survival or upholding morality. Make a choice and deal with the consequences.

Compare documents for inconsistencies, repair ship systems and ultimately allow or disallow travel. All the while the OCA is piling on more and more bureaucratic red tape in this puzzle, management life-sim.

Make choices that impact the story

Meet many different characters with unique motivations and inner conflicts. Are they lying or telling the truth?
Pass judgment and determine not only their fates but also the trajectory of your own journey.

Verify ID discrepancies

Ensure they have the correct details; name, race, expiry date all match?
What is their destination? Does their story match up? Are they allowed to travel to that sector since the new OCA regulations came in?
