Varför Early Access?

“As a solo developer, it's difficult to know whether I'm doing right by the game and building something that players will actually enjoy. I'd like to be in early access to build the game alongside a community of players who may end up knowing the game better than I do. I'd like that feedback to help shape the rest of the game.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“A few months to a year, depending on how much feedback comes in, how long it takes to build the requested features and content, etc.”

“I plan to add more content and features to the game based on player feedback received during Early Access. That might include more characters, more boons, more maps, other mechanics, and other QoL features, but will vary based on feedback and feasibility.”

“3 characters, 24 boons, 15 achievements, 1 map that lasts a roughly 25 minute run with a final boss, 5 boons hidden in the map (included in the 24), multiple enemy types, a final boss of the map, purchasable stat upgrades, and QoL features like save files, in-game achievements, basic settings, etc.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“Yes - the plan is to gradually increase the price with major content updates and land on a final price when 1.0 ships. ”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“Any feedback from players is highly valuable - the plan is to directly communicate with players on the Steam forums (or any other direct contact with feedback). As feedback and bug reports come in, I'll make patches to the game to address the feedback, similar to how it worked with the demo version of the game.”

Om detta spel

After eons of being imprisoned by the Asgardian gods for his crimes and trickery, Loki has broken free and unleashed his army of loyal monsters to bring about Ragnarok in order to terrorize the realms and take revenge against the Norse gods. Fight back as one of your favorite gods to defeat Loki, his army, and avoid Ragnarok!

Defeat Loki's Loyal Army

Draugrs, ogres, wolves, and the Jotnar - they all fight for Loki and must be stopped! Defeat wave after wave of large hordes of monsters and bosses. Some monsters will chase you down relentlessly; others will try to shoot you with arrows and other projectiles. Learn how they attack and avoid getting hit!

Master each god's unique ability

Every god has their own, unique ability you can activate. Thor uses his lightning powers to double all of his stats, Sif channels the energy of the Bifrost to heal herself, and Odin summons Geri and Freki to mow down enemies. Each god's ability creates unique play styles!

Level Up and Gain Powerful Boons

When defeated, enemies will drop XP. Collect enough and you'll level up and get to choose from 3 powerful Boons! Boss enemies will also drop a Bifrost Shard that gives you access to unique Boons. Some Boons boost your stats, some give you new ways of attacking enemies and dealing damage. Collect as many as you can to build the ultimate overpowered god!

Permanently Upgrade Your Character

Gods never die! After dying or completing a run, you'll have the opportunity to spend your hard-earned Gold on permanent upgrades. Permanently boost stats for all gods to even the odds for future runs. 

Completing certain objectives and earning achievements will also permanently unlock new characters to play as, as well as new Boons that will be added to the level up pool.

Explore hand-crafted maps to find hidden upgrades

Each map is hand-designed - no procedural generation here! Hidden within each of them are powerful Boons. Once you find them, they'll be permanently added to your available pool of Boons for future runs.

  • 1 map to explore with secret unlockable Boons

  • 15 Achievements

  • Vengeance levels - after successfully completing a run, you can choose to play the map again with all your boons and an increased difficulty level
