為何採用搶先體驗模式？

「Touhou Danmaku Maze is a difficult game that contains game genres and unique patterns and gimmicks that are not normally seen in arcade games. This makes it extremely hard for the team to determine the best course of action for the experience of the players. We plan on using early access as a way to allow players to get a first look at these patterns and suggest changes that will allow more players to enjoy this game.」

「We plan for this game will be early access until the core game is complete. We are estimating that the game may be complete around early 2026 but this may change based on community feedback.」

正式版預計會與搶先體驗版有何不同？

「For the core game, We plan for to include, but not limited to, the following:
1> 6 Levels/Bosses
2> Visual Novel Cutscenes from the start of the game to the end
3> 4 Difficulites per level (Easy, normal, hard, lunatic)
4> All UI menus to be complete
5> Japanese language added

This list may change based on community feedback.」

「This early access version of the game contains our 4th overhaul of the engine and we feel confident in the style and gameplay. This may change on community feedback but for the time being, we are moving forward with this game engine.

Our plan is that the public version of the Early Access game will contain the first level Daiyousei playable from Main Menu to a End Level Result Screen.」

「The base game may change price when we leave Early Access. If there is a plan for DLC in the future, we would price that accordingly but keep the base game the same. We also may increase the price if we create a deluxe version of the game after the base game is complete.」

「As stated before, Touhou Danmaku Maze can be considered as a difficult game that can contain game genres, unique patterns, and gimmicks that are not normally seen in arcade games. During the early access period, we may be relying on community feedback through our Discord to determine the best action to take place for the game. Our discord may have questions or polls for our players to inquire about this.」

Touhou Danmaku Maze redefines the maze genre by thinking outside the labyrinth—literally! Instead of hazards confined within the walls, the danger comes from beyond, unleashing a relentless barrage of danmaku (bullet hell patterns) that force you to weave, dodge, and strategize your way to victory.

This game puts a heavy emphasis on high-speed, precision-based gameplay with a strong speedrunning focus. Master the art of routing, experiment with different paths, and find the most efficient way to clear each stage in record time. Every second counts—can you outmaneuver the chaos and claim the best time?
