Why Early Access?

“Being in Early Access will give me time to implement the quality-of-life fixes I would like to see before the full launch. This will allow gamers to play the game at a more affordable price and gain early impressions before the official release of Escape the Forest.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It will depend on the amount of time and effort I need to invest in the game beforehand. I am looking at a maximum of 2-4 months. If there is significant interest generated around the game, I will expand the final release scope. Consequently, this would extend the Early Access period, allowing for additional polish before the game’s release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“By the full release of Escape The Forest, we plan on having these modes and future :

Tournaments in Arena Mode: We’re excited to introduce competitive tournaments, enhancing the challenge and excitement in arena mode.

New NPC Characters: Get ready to meet a cast of new non-player characters, each adding depth and intrigue to the game world.
Expanded Level Content: Each difficulty setting will now feature an additional 10 levels, bringing the total to 92 levels across the entire game.

Co-op Multiplayer: Team up with friends in both the story mode and arenas for cooperative multiplayer gameplay.

These updates aim to enrich the gaming experience and provide players with more content and ways to play.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of Escape the Forest is as follows:

There are currently 20 levels per difficulty, totaling 62 levels in the complete game.
There are 2 arena levels to put your survival skills to the test.
The start of the story narrative awaits your solving.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game’s price will increase with each major update. There will be a one-week period after a major update before the price increase, so make sure to purchase early before the release of major updates.”

About This Game

In “Escape the Forest,” you choose your path to uncover the mystery behind your neighbors’ sudden disappearance.

Nestled in a remote forest, you and your neighbors have lived in peace. However, recent nights have brought strange feelings and a sense of lurking danger.


Current Features

Discover the truth behind your neighbor’s disappearance in this immersive single-player story.

This arena shooter features designated safe houses where you can rearm using your neighbor’s armory.

Beware of various wildlife that poses a threat as you wander from house to house searching for clues.

Weapons come with different ammo types:
Stun - This ammo type temporarily stops the enemies' movements.
Fire - Set your enemies ablaze which deals damage over time.

Planned Features

Multiplayer mode allows you and your friends to test your endurance in the arenas and fight as a team.

A dynamic weather system affects gameplay visibility and gunplay.
