Step into the Abyss - tells the noir story of detective Chris Mori. Chris has a unique trait - he cannot see faces, but this doesn't stop him from solving complex cases, compensating for his lack in other ways. Few know that Chris is possessed by a dark entity, which can be a dangerous foe or an unreliable ally. It all depends on the player's choices.


The events unfold in the universe of Absorbed, within the vast empire of Absorbium, in the small town of Misty Hills. The country is under a dictatorship, with constant surveillance over its citizens, and a single careless action or word can result in losing one's freedom.

The inhabitants of the world are multifaceted. Each one has a distinct personality with their interests and character. Their appearances are memorable. Just remember, everyone you meet could be either an ally or an enemy.


A dark noir city is almost always shrouded in fog and rain, to which everyone has become accustomed and no longer pays much attention. By combining 2D-digital graphics and 3D-Voxel, we have achieved an interesting and visually pleasing blend, offering the player a unique visual experience.


Dive headfirst into the grim reality of this original detective story. In a world of dictatorship, where a single wrong glance at the elite can cost you your freedom, a seasoned detective will repeatedly face the choice of digging deeper for the truth or giving up and conforming.


Take on the role of a private detective tasked with solving a murder. Gather testimonies, study evidence, piece together events, and find the culprit.


• Deep non-linear storyline: You will experience Chris Mori's detective story, which you control. We offer 35 different story paths and more than 2 endings.
• Dialogue system: More than 100 different dialogues and over 600 response options await you. Each choice will directly influence future events.
• Main character: You will play private detective Chris Mori, who cannot see faces and battles his inner demons.
• Evidence system: Any investigation involves searching for evidence, analyzing, and correlating it. You'll do all of this in our game, aided by an intuitive evidence board that helps you navigate the investigation and plan your next steps.
• Atmosphere: A small, grim provincial town shrouded in fog and rain, forgotten by God and populated by frightened residents - a dystopian world of dictatorship and fear.
• Graphics: In Step into the Abyss, we blend Digital Art and Voxel graphic styles.
• Migraine system: The protagonist can lose control due to migraines, jeopardizing the investigation.
• NPCs: Each non-playable character has their own opinions and personality and can cause trouble if you anger them.
• Atmosphere of a true noir detective story.
