Sincere Apology

First and foremost, I must admit with honesty, as an independent developer aimed at promoting and demystifying traditional culture, there are many shortcomings in my production. My technical ability and insights are limited, which may result in a not so satisfying gaming experience. However, I vow to make the best use of my abilities; I'll strive to constantly improve the game so it could be refined to meet your expectations.

Developers’ Original Intention

Previously, I was a practitioner in the gaming industry, neglecting ethics when trying to make money in employment. The prevailing materialistic trend caused me to lose directions, and I couldn't find a profound meaning for my existence, feeling restlessness inside and the pleasure happened to be transient.I was on a quest for the essence of things and started to pay attention to social issues, especially the rural issues discussed by Len. But when I stepped in, I felt I couldn’t fully comprehend or represent the truth of it. Subsequently, I explored 'Capital' explained by Professor Wang Defeng and Lu Qiyuan, the book was all about exploitation (surplus labor value), however it only questioned without providing a substantive method.Then, I discovered 'Learning Record', explained by Professor Wang Defeng, which is based on Yangming's school of mind. That gave me a peaceful mind and a calming method, even though I didn't completely understand the principle behind it.Eventually, with the recommendation of a friend, I got to know about Ni Haixia. Out of a mentality of learning, I finished reading 'Tian Ji.' It resonates with Yangming's school of mind in many ways, and it explained that actually fate can be explained. Before that, I had always sneered at fortune-telling.However, my understanding of the I Ching was merely perfunctory. The meaning was elusive and difficult to grasp. Only after my repeated learning and practice, I gathered some insights. Confucius once said, "Sages do not plot, gentlemen do not numerate," because they already understand the I-Ching, they only need to do according to the rationale and their wishes will naturally be realized. But we still don't understand and are naturally affected, so we can't make our wishes come true.In the end, I would like to thank Teacher Ni Haixia for leaving valuable resources for future generations to study, ten thousand years to Mr. Ni! At the same time, I am constantly learning and emptying my cup, testing the theories that I think are correct, and getting rid of the wrong ones.
I turned my learnings and perceptions of I-Ching into this work over the past year. I am continually learning and planned to make a more interesting game based on the teachings of I-Ching. I hope more people will find tranquility and their own direction through it!

Players need to solve various challenges by adding, deleting, modifying, and dismantling texts, providing a deep explorative experience.Unique Level Design: Each level represents a different hexagram. Players need to unlock and explore its secrets gradually. Such a design makes the game full of novelty and challenges.Deconstructing the I-Ching Steps by Steps: By moving the texts to solve puzzles, from the simple Yin-Yang arrangement to the complex Four Images, Eight Diagrams, and the Sixty-Four Hexagrams, the levels gradually deepen, testing the understanding and application of texts while learning the Book of Changes.
Even though the game might have deficits, I strongly believe that with constant effort and improvements, I'll better advocate and embrace the culture of the Book of Changes.
