Whelm is about a young penguin, washed up on a mysterious island. Once a thriving sanctuary, it has fallen into disrepair. You must rescue animals, nurture plants and repair machines.

No missions or levelling up. This is a game about exploration and experimentation. Go at your own pace. Use the monocular to scan the terrain or just pick a direction and go.

Save the Animals

If you see an animal out of place or in distress, don't just stand there. Figure out what they need.

Clean the Beaches

Junk can be found scattered around the beaches. Gather up any garbage you see and put it where it belongs.

Power the Machines

You'll find machines around the island, but it's been a long time since they were serviced. For supplies, try the vending machines. If the machine still doesn't work, try shouting at it.

Play

But it's not all work. Take your time and mess around. There are no adults here to stop you.

When you're ready, find a way to reach the next island. Unfortunately the young penguin is not a strong swimmer, so you'll have to get creative.

Language Support

The menu, controls and settings are English only at this time. Gameplay does not include any dialogue or text.
