What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We decided to release our program into early access so that users can start learning it as early as possible. We want to receive feedback and suggestions for improving our product so that the program becomes as convenient and effective as possible for users.”

Approximately how long will this software be in Early Access?

“Previously, we planned to release the full version of the program 12 months after releasing it into early access. This time was planned for the implementation of all planned additional features that improve our program. But development is moving quickly and we hope to release the program much earlier.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We really appreciate your support!
We have implemented all the promised plans for creating the program and are now starting to write documentation. We hope to release and final version in the near future!
Thank you!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The program has a lot of options for users. Users can create their own unique installations both for themselves and as holiday gifts for their friends and their family.

We did not limit the number of projectors or screens that can be connected to one instance of the program. All 8 projectors, if connected to a computer, are accessible.
In the full version, we did not limit the number of points in the perimeter of the created screens.
You can control the visibility of screens, perimeter points, and screen sides.
You can create a new screen using a layout template or your own choice.
You can select as many videos or images from your library and place them in the player for each screen, independently of each other.
Available formats today: asf,avi,dv,m4v,mp4,mpg,mpeg,ogv,vp8,webm,wmv,mov,bmp,jpeg,jpg,png.
You can set the depth for each video separately.
You can adjust the speed at which the transparency changes at the beginning of the video and at the end of the video.
You can limit the duration of each video or image.
Each screen video can be configured separately or all at once.
You can change the depth of each screen relative to the main scene.
For screens, it is possible to configure continuous rotation along the X, Y, Z axes.
It is possible to select an additional center of rotation for each screen (geometric center).
In the demo version there are restrictions on the number of objects created, all other features are available.

The number of 3D object shape modifiers that can be inserted into an object cassette is up to 100 units!
You can run up to 1000 instances of the same or different 3D objects.
The user has the ability to limit the number of each object launched.
Objects can be launched manually or automatically using triggers.
There are 3 triggers available that can be used to set the launch or disappearance of 3D objects.
It is possible to configure the launch frequency and lifetime of 3D objects.
Trigger timers can be customized. For example, the timer starts after 3D objects collide with each other and screens.
Volumetric screens can be used to interact with objects by setting their shell type:
1. Reflector
2. Trap for flying 3D objects
3. Transparent
4. Destroyer of 3D objects

There are many parameters for setting up 3D objects:
1. Quantity
2. Regulators of object behavior (triggers)
3. Elasticity
size 4
5. Angle at the start along the X, Y, Z axes
6. Rotation in flight along the X, Y, Z axes
7. Start pulse along the X, Y, Z axes
8. Gravity along the X, Y, Z axes
9. Snap to screen points
10. Flight trajectories of objects around screen points
11. Selecting the 3D area where the object appears
12. Linking the area where an object appears to the perimeter of the screens
13. Form modifiers (random selection or sequential search)
14. Object color settings (one color, two colors, random)

DINRAY has more than a hundred 3D object templates.
There is a template designer in which you can collect your own versions of 3D objects, combining them and customizing them as you wish.

You can select a mode (2D, 3D) to view the scene.
You can zoom in and out of the scene, viewing it from the desired angle.
It is already possible to save stage screen configurations.”

Will this software be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price after releasing the full version. All users who actively participate in improving our program will enjoy program updates for free for as long as they need it.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We welcome feedback and suggestions for improving our program through discussions on Steam and through the feedback form on the website https://dinray.com.
Since we are going to launch the program early, we expect our users to report all sorts of bugs and give us their great ideas that will influence the development of the program. Therefore, we are planning a system of gifts and bonuses for those users who support us.
We also hope for help from users with the translation and localization of DINRAY.”

About This Software

We present a design application for generating effects and creating installations using household and laser projectors.
You can create installations based on uploaded videos, photos and embedded 3D models.
Divide the screen into multiple mini-screens by drawing the outlines of real objects. Add your own video footage to every user screen.
Customize the appearance, properties and characteristics of 3D models - their shape, color and behavior using fade-in and fade-out triggers.
Customize the interaction of screens and 3D models, creating unique colorful installations on the walls of rooms and houses.
Use the program's capabilities to create 3D presentations...
