“The core gameplay loop and most key features are complete and being evaluated by beta testers. However, there are still many things to improve and balance, as well as a list of new features and content to implement based on community feedback. Listening to you, the players, is our top priority, because we want to make a game that you enjoy. After having released several games already, we know that a game's community is the most valuable resource for useful feedback, and so we strive to engage with the community as much as possible. Players can enjoy a solid and feature-rich game during this Early Access period, and continue to enjoy balance improvements and new features and content as we respond to your suggestions.”

“We anticipate the official production release being in Q4 2024.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In short: new features (robot units and hero equipment), more upgrades to boost your heroes, quality of life updates, balance improvements, additional leaderboards and competitive content, and so much more!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“All major gameplay features and the core gameplay loop are implemented. You have 36 human heroes to choose from, all with completely unique skills and synergies. We are still tinkering with the game's balance and pacing to perfect the user experience, but it is in a good enough state now to give you months of entertaining play time. We are also still working on improving the UI in various areas.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, the game will remain free to play forever.”

“We have a great community on our Steam forums and Discord, both of which the developers are extremely active on. The developers will respond to nearly every player's individual feedback and will often implement suggestions that the majority of the community supports.”

In Idle Hero TD, discover a fantasy world of epic heroes, monsters, and magic! Command a team of heroes to defend your base, and stop the evil creatures from capturing the tower!

Although Idle Hero TD is an idle game that can mostly play itself (which is perfect for casual players without much time), it was also designed to be extremely strategic and rewarding for those who play actively and efficiently. The most powerful bonuses in the game revolve around optimizing the placements of your Heroes to activate their synergies and special abilities. A lot of planning and puzzle-solving may be required to achieve the ideal build for your personal playstyle! This is an endless idle game, so if you enjoy grinding and watching numbers go up from big to impossibly huge - this is the game for you.

Featuring non-stop, idle, and endless gameplay! Destroy endless swarms of evil monsters to bolster power, speed, and other stats - and the more monsters you obliterate, the more heroes you’ll unlock. Face off against Ultra Bosses such as the Ancient Shadow and Exotic Alien for the most powerful rewards.

DOZENS OF UNIQUE HEROES

Unlock 36 unique heroes, all of which have different skill sets that make tower synergy crucial to success. Determining the most effective combination of their skills and synergies will keep you entertained and speculating for weeks! Discovering new unique heroes is part of the fun.
