“更偏向于使用‘大革命’称呼该款AC产品，而不是‘团结’，再熟悉不过的时代背景，使游戏的其他方面都变得不那么重要，凡尔赛宫、巴士底狱等一系列标志性建筑到三级会议、攻占巴士底狱等历史事件，这一代刺客信条这么的历史感，虽然游戏在玩法和角色战斗方面不能让人满意，“信条”的贯彻在主角的身上模模糊糊，但游戏仍然体现出来AC系列的主题，在“死王”DLC中，回归的圣器似乎又贴合回兄弟会与圣殿骑士之间的主题。”
