Why Early Access?

“I would never feel right releasing an unfinished game, Slay and Spray Exterminators, whilst mostly complete, is missing a number of features and additions I believe would be beneficial to it's long-term health, and as such, it feels only right to let people know that this game can and will evolve and change over time.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I don't plan on keeping the game in early access for more than a year after release, of course as a solo developer this isn't an absolute promise I can make, but it is one I intend to follow to the best of my ability.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan on adding new mission types alongside the current "main" mode of creature extraction, as well as heaping amounts of everything else that Slay and Spray currently offers (more cosmetics, consumables, and unlockables)”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently Slay and Spray Exterminators is fully playable from start to finish, with fully functioning multiplayer, however it is lacking in depth in the aforementioned areas, which will hopefully be rectified soon!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I don't particularly believe in changing prices for games, there is no reason someone who decides to buy my game later should have to pay more, however I may release a few small paid DLCs”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Feedback from social media (Twitter etc.) and Steam Forums. A github issue tracker may also be created.”

About This Game

Following 500 years of war against the dreaded Soyjak hordes, humanity has emerged mostly triumphant, but at a great cost, rifts open and close across the planet, bringing forth waves of warped and mutated creatures from other realms, all of which augur naught but destruction. To truly prevail against such foes, the one true king must yet again enlist the help of his infinite army of Replicex (Replicated Exterminators) to capture enough of these beings to empower the Great Planar Seal and quell the tides forever.

Gameplay:

Slay and Spray Exterminators is a co-op procedurally-generated dungeon crawler with light roguelike elements in which players can wield a variety of additional tools alongside their standard kit of a Stun Baton, Capture Grenade, and Omnitool. Fight your way through maze-like interiors of office buildings, sewers, and more, all with the goal of safely and effectively capturing every creature you come across.
