„If all goes well, I hope to do creative work at the crossroads of art and music for life — and with the speed of developments in the AI space, that might very well be necessary! Still, I expect it to be at least 2 years until AI-VJ is close to feature complete

Expect especially new visuals, and new types of visuals to be mostly released as paid DLC. All the basic features that make a great VJ application are, and will remain free“

Wie soll sich die Vollversion von der Early Access-Version unterscheiden?

„The aim is to become the VJ app that does what most DJs with a projector actually need, with 80% of the features of market leaders, all in a user-friendly package with sensible defaults, that doesn't cost hundreds of dollars / euros (a year) to own. When we get there, we'll call it the full version: 1.0

Concrete planned updates
– Support for multiple decks to easily hold more visuals
– Support for multiple layers (overlaying videos, back-end work done)
– Support for shader effects overlaid on videos & ability to import them
– Fractal shaders (full DLC coming soon)
– Sound-animated 3D game content (DLC)

– Pre-generated AI, but adjusted based on song lyrics (free samples + DLC)
– Create your own artwork using prompts in-app (DLC)
– Have a full AI auto-pilot mode in which AI itself decides what visuals to show
– Real-time generated AI visuals based on the music when better hardware is around (DLC)
– Much more content and creative visuals (free samples + DLC)
– Steam workshop / store for user made content

Was ist der derzeitige Stand der Early Access-Version?

„I’ve found AI VJ to be stable enough for my own DJ shows. Syncing through Ableton Link and BPM estimation through live music all work for hours on end. And it does videos, photos, and a built-in fractal shader. While with ongoing updates we can’t yet fully guarantee long stable sets, on the plus side, there is much to come

In brief, everything listed in the "About This Software" section below is ready. Which is what I needed for my shows. I expect / hope for you it's usable too“

Wird diese Software während und nach Early Access unterschiedlich viel kosten?

„AI VJ will remain free

But some non-core elements are, and will be, DLCs, such as the Customize Your DJ Logo DLC. Apart from free samples, new visuals (& types of visuals) will be released as DLC“
