Have you ever thought, "I wish I could give this tower a double shot upgrade. It would be OP!" If the answer is yes, then Neon Grid Defenders will give you that freedom. You can give any upgrade to any tower! Throughout your run, you will accumulate a lot of upgrades from different rarities. The higher the rarity, the more powerful the upgrade! Create satisfying combos with your towers that destroy your enemies in seconds! A time-based difficulty curve will keep you on your toes and test your strategy. After each run, you will be able to unlock different progressions to make you stronger for the next one, along with the freedom to expand the path however you want with as many splits as you want!

• After surviving a wave you will select, from a choice of 3, a road tile and a game modification that will allow you to specialize your build.
  
• Between every wave you will need to place that road tile and create a new spawn point or extend an existing one further away.
  
• Spend your earned power from destroying enemies to build more towers or upgrade them. Adding upgrade to them is free as long as you have any left. You can replace upgrades for free but the one being replaced is destroyed. Likewise, when you sell a tower you lose all upgrades you've given to it.
  
• The game difficulty progresses with time. Splitting the road makes the enemies spawn faster and allows you to go further in the game with lower difficulty. The higher the difficulty the more enemies come and more health they have.
