Elemental Vanguard is a medieval fantasy card game that blends Balatro-inspired hand-building with a roguelike adventure.

Build your deck from elemental character, equipment, and skill cards, then combine them into powerful hands to defeat enemies and claim wondrous treasures and relics throughout each journey. Study each card’s class and element, adjust the order in which you play them, and assemble different hand types. Use relics and item cards to continually strengthen your deck as you battle monsters and bosses along the way.

Key Features:

• Fantasy Hand-Building Combat: A card’s element, class, and type determine which combinations you can form. Choose and sequence your cards carefully to build Balatro-style hands and scale your damage to ever greater heights.

• Five Classes, One Deck: Classes are not separate playable heroes—they are interconnected building blocks within the same deck. Focus on a single class or discover powerful synergies across multiple classes.

• Relics and Item Cards: Relics trigger automatically at different points in combat. Item cards can change a card’s class, elemental affinity, or type, while also helping you thin your deck, duplicate key cards, and evolve your build.

• Journeys and Choices: Choose from different journeys, each with its own random mechanics, enemies, rules, and rewards. Shops, events, and post-battle recovery will continually reshape your build throughout each run.

• Boss Challenges: Every boss has unique abilities and encounter restrictions. Raw damage alone will not be enough—you must adapt your deck in advance and prepare for your core strategy to be weakened or countered.

• Demo Content: The demo includes three starting elements—Fire, Water, and Nature—five classes, and the core deckbuilding loop. The full release will expand the game with additional events, elements, challenges, and more.
