eXoSpace Combat Engineer is inspired by Reassembly, FTL, Cosmoteer, Nova Drift, Starsector, Avorion and more. It fills a unique niche as a mission-based, gridless spaceship-designing roguelite.

Break free from the grid. Use an intuitive snap-and-rotate system to build anything from nimble interceptors to massive, bristling juggernauts. Balance thrusters, armor, and energy systems, or use advanced mechanical parts like pistons and rotators to create transforming warships.

No two hunts are the same. Each hyperjump brings randomized encounters, from desperate rescue missions to deadly pirate ambushes. Scavenge blueprints from fallen foes, gather resources, and adapt your ship’s design on the fly to survive the next boss encounter. 

Survival in deep space requires more than just a sturdy hull, it requires a seasoned crew and a tactical edge.

• Train Your Crew: Use your bounty to train your crew. Improve weapon cooling, repair speeds, or pilot maneuvering, turning a rookie bridge into a legendary strike team.

• Rewrite the Rules: Unlock Global Modifiers that fundamentally alter the physics and economy of the galaxy. Trade higher risks for massive rewards, or experiment with gameplay-altering shifts that keep every run fresh.

• Climb the Hit List: Progress through a hierarchy of increasingly dangerous targets. As your reputation grows, so does the bounty. prepare your ship for the galaxy's most feared supervillains.
