Waarom vroegtijdige toegang?

'We have big plans for the future of our game, but we want our initial focus to be on polishing the core gameplay loop. To that end, we want to use Early Access to further refine core systems with the feedback of our players and then branch out into introducing new content in the form of additional biomes, characters, items, enemies and bosses.'

'We are planning for Early Access to run no longer than a year from launch. This should give us enough development time to add in all planned content, being intentional about keeping the scope realistic. There is always the possibility of post-release content if there is enough community demand.'

Over dit spel

Early Access currently features:

  • 4 explorable biomes, each with unique enemies, multiple minibosses, and a main boss

  • 5 playable characters, with many unique abilities to choose between and upgrade

  • Over a dozen base buildings which unlock persistent upgrades

  • 50+ artifacts of power which can be combined in infinite possibilities

The Knight is a straightforward melee character with many different weapons, each with unique attack styles. Armor is key as this character is slow but hard-hitting.

  • Dash Attack hurls the Knight into or out of combat and can be upgraded to set enemies ablaze!

  • Fortify Armor makes the Knight an impenetrable tank and can additionally cleanse the hero from all negative status effects.

  • The fearsome War Chant terrifies surrounding enemies and sends them fleeing! Upgrade to embolden the Knight with a temporary increase in attack speed and damage.

The Ranger is a shadowy archer, reliant on stealth and distance from foes. Utilize a variety of bows and arrow types to exploit your enemy’s weaknesses. Fast movement and careful planning will keep this hero alive.

  • Scatter a blanket of caltrops behind in the Ranger’s footsteps to slow down and damage pursuing enemies. Upgrade quantity and quality to lacerate foes.

  • Accelerate fire rate and watch the enemy fall in droves! Upgrade to unleash a volley of arrows at inhuman speeds.

  • Turn the Ranger into an agent of shadow by throwing down obscuring smoke clouds. Further upgrade this ability to unleash a massive poisonous plume!

The Beastmaster brings his friends from the forest. Summon allies and avoid direct combat while tactically turning the tide of battle.

  • With many summons active, the Beastmaster gives a rallying cry, gathering all friends in one place and bolstering them with immunities and enhancements.

  • Make a quick escape by burrowing beneath the enemy’s feet. Upgrade to further embolden the Beastmaster’s allies, or to increase personal strength and strike from below!

  • Deploy bear traps, stopping enemies in their paths and creating the perfect opportunity for your animal companions to strike! Upgrade and permanently cripple foe’s movement.

Further enhance your heroes by implementing small stat increases or temporarily boost with a variety of potions.

Discover dungeons and mine mysterious geodes to uncover many artifacts of power. Each artifact contributes a unique effect and can be merged with others to create bizarre and powerful combinations.

Accept quests from your townsfolk, then go out adventuring to garner greater fame and other rewards.
