About This Game

In Project Rebearth, you rebuild the world together with other players. The game is set a thousand years into the future, after an unknown event wiped out civilization  nothing on the surface remained. Centuries have passed, and people are emerging to the surface once more. Play in a massive online multiplayer world where everyone shares the same exact 1:1 replica of planet Earth. Grow your town, trade with others for resources you can’t obtain on your own, face challenges, and uncover the lost history of the planet.

Project Rebearth takes place on a full-scale, 1:1 replica of our planet one thousand years into the future. You decide whether to start your settlement in the burning deserts, frozen polar regions, or wild temperate forests. Each real-world location has its own style, building materials, natural resources, and specialized production chains.

Explore familiar and unfamiliar corners of the Earth. Get inspired by the creativity of other players, build freely in the sandbox mode of the game and export any location as a high-resolution map. Perfect for map-making or integrating into offline adventures like TTRPGs.

The world of Project Rebearth is persistent. The game is a relaxed, long-term game that is not meant to be rushed through in a weekend. Your farms keep growing potatoes, your woodcutters keep producing lumber, even while you’re offline. Play at your own pace, whenever it suits you.

I am proud of the fact that everything you see and hear in the game is made by humans. Work by talented artists and human creativity created all the assets, soundtracks and story elements you experience in the game. For full transparency I do want to disclose that AI tools were used for assisting while coding and for translating the game in the wide number of languages it is available in today. However through community effort we continuously refine these translations to be the most fitting they can be.
