Cubed and Dangerous is a charming but punishing action looter shooter that seamlessly merges elements of Action RPG build-crafting with the thrill of perma-death roguelike gameplay. Test your skills against this ever-escalating challenge set in a stylized procedurally-generated world filled with enemies, bosses, rare items, upgrades, game-warping perks and more.

PLAY YOUR WAY

Cubed and Dangerous has a huge arsenal of weapons and equipment, all combining procedurally to adjust your gameplay with modifiers and perks. Use your smarts as well as your gunplay skills to create the strongest character you can, using a wide inventory of items and a powerful stat comparison display.

PHYSICALLY SIMULATED

Let your grenades fly! The environments of Cubed and Dangerous have fully-fledged physics simulations, with buttery-smooth character movement and realistic forces. Use your explosions to knock enemies around, make space around you with Railguns, bounce across lava fields, spin enemies around with literal tornadoes, and knock flying enemies out of the sky with rockets!

ENDLESS VAULT OF GAMEPLAY

No two playthroughs will ever be the same! There are hundreds of items to create new and exciting synergies with, procedural Campaign maps that provide new emergent challenges, and plenty of varied starting characters to unlock.

RAISE THE BAR

Completing runs will unlock progressive and compounding run modifiers. Each level adds a new twist to the game, making the game harder and harder and building up to a bigger and bigger challenge!

SEEK THE WISDOM OF THE FEW

There are plenty of strange secrets to discover - from unique and wacky rare items to entire campaign acts! Figure out the loopholes and secret tunnels that can lead you to undiscovered places.

THE INFINITE DESERT

Each character you create will be unique. Once you finish the campaign, you have a one-time opportunity to test that character against the Infinite Desert - a procedural set of levels that scales up infinitely. Test your character build and test your skills, and find out how far YOU can get in the Infinite Desert!

LEVEL UP? NO, LEVEL OUT!

Collect experience as you progress through levels, and allocate it as you like in a persistent balancing system. Tweak your character with small starting bonuses and give it the leg up you need for a strong starting position.

COMPLETE YOUR COLLECTION

All items, enemies and bosses can be reviewed in the Collections and the Field Manual. Each one has a record what you've found - and completing certain challenges is recorded for all time. Try to beat a campaign while wearing each item at least once!

PLAY THE MARKET

Alongside running and gunning, you'll earn cash in each level. Use upgrades to fill your coffers faster, making a trade-off between DPS and purchasing power; roll for legendary items in the global shop; and earn the cash you need for maxing out your forge upgrades!

LEADERBOARDS WITH FRIENDS

Compete with your friends for glory and bragging rights! You can compete for fastest completion, furthest level reached in the Infinite Desert, highest Combo, or even on most valuable character!
