About This Game

An alternate way for gamers to learn Korean and Japanese. Shooting the enemies or playing the minigames—choose your fun starting point to learn a new language with anime aesthetic!

Here are the features:

1. The Less Boring Way

Learn the Korean alphabet (Hangul) and other alphabets in a fun gaming context. Quizzes and rote memorization aren’t for everyone because they encourage procrastination and eventually dropping out. So Hangul Shooter offers an alternative way that encourages you to learn because you used to, not because you need to.

2. Core Mechanics

Shoot the enemies with the correct bombs or sometimes avoid them. Use skills, master a class’s playstyle, or try the Practice Mode to clear all levels more easily!

Each level has four phases. The first two phases accustom you to the new letters, and the last two give you the “adrenaline boost”. The Rush Phase makes you think faster and turn your body left and right, and the Boss Phase tests your endurance. But still, you can skip these last two phases if they are too difficult!

Harder difficulty is also available for non-casual gamers and streamers who want to bang the table~.

3. Buy One, Get Two: The Minigames

Do you still like quiz-like games to learn a new language? The minigames offer classic experiences and even more alternative ways. You can also make a request if you want a specific minigame.

4. The Alphabets and Beyond (BETA)

There is a minigame to learn common vocabulary in Hangul Shooter. A way to learn essential grammar (for traveling) is also under development. But these features are experimental.

The goal is to learn the essentials to save time and learn relatively faster!

The catch:

At the current version, Hangul Shooter doesn't include a pronunciation feature. Therefore, it's good if you just want a quick start. And so, you can recognize the letters in manhwa/manga soon enough.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

The violence and sexual content are limited to what you get from a manhwa/manga for teens. For example, one character sounds sus and says, "Aa...", but no sexual activity or whatsoever, lol.
