Why Early Access?

“Though the main battle mechanics have been honed, Mana Cycle is still in a state of experimentation, and is in the process of many visual upgrades, and even some extra gamemodes. As well as this, the Online play is in it's early stages, and will take a long time to perfect. We want to release this game in early access so we can receive player feedback on balancing, difficulty, and anything else we can improve about the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“If development goes smoothly, this game will likely get a full release in early 2025.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the future, we plan to expand online capability, such as with improved matchmaking. We want to keep our core puzzle-party gameplay the same, but do as much as we can in offering additional content and polish to the overall experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“There are currently several single-player gamemodes, including a short campaign of levels, endless mode, and CPU opponents to battle. There is also a 1v1 multiplayer gamemode, with local play and limited online play.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game will stay free for a while, but we plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features and the game gets a bigger playerbase.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We highly value player feedback in making our game more balanced and fun to play. We will also likely start hosting community tournaments when the game gets some traction. Introducing Mana Cycle, the ultimate puzzle party game experience! Dive into a digital world of strategic block-dropping madness where strategy and reflexes collide. Mana Cycle offers a fresh twist on the classic falling block puzzle genre, combining elements of Tetris and Puyo-Puyo with its own unique mechanics.
This game introduces the "Cycle" mechanic, presenting players with an order that the pieces must be cleared ("spellcasted") in. Strategize your moves carefully as you clear pieces according to the ever-rotating cycle in the center of the screen. Features 7 playable characters, each with unique abilities.

Settle into a variety of engaging game modes:
