Miksi Early Access?

I want your feedback on new orbs and spells. Each new orb brings a host of spells, and I want to ensure you enjoy them before adding more. Your input will help me refine the complexity and fun of these spells.

I’m committed to making sure you’re satisfied with Orbs of Chaos before concluding the story.

My guess is 3 to 6 months.

I plan for the full version to include more stages, orbs, enemies, items, bosses, secrets, and essential lore pieces.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

Currently, the game features one stage, 5 orbs, 35 spells, over 15 enemy types, 7+ bosses, 20+ items, several secrets, and a 20 talent meta-progression tree, together with an interesting and complete sub-plot. Also, Chaos Mode offers maxed-out spells with no cooldowns and customizable game settings, perfect for practice or just having fun. The game currently provides a good amount of variety and high replay value.

The price will increase as new content is added. Buy early to save money and have an impact on the game's development.

I will use Steam and a Discord server to engage with the community. By releasing the game in early access, I want players to influence the upcoming spells, orbs, and bosses. I will do my best to stay involved with the community. Find the link below.

Orbs of Chaos is a horde survivor action rogue-lite where you wield unholy orbs to cast powerful spells and defeat endless waves of enemies.

Each run lasts 21 minutes, during which you face 7 challenging bullet hell inspired bosses and thousands of enemies.

With 10 different starting spell sets, various items, talents, levels, and randomized enemy encounters, no two playthroughs are ever the same!

Become the Caster herself in the twisted Realm of Despair and embark on a journey of hatred.

Orb Combination

Before each run, you pick 3 out of 5 available orbs. During the run, you can combine these orbs to cast any of the 10 possible spells they create.

Corruption Tree

Earn Chaos Shards by killing bosses and spend them to corrupt yourself, gaining powerful permanent talents while making the Chaos stronger.

Maybe you noticed that the font is different between those two GIFs. You can change the font.

Current Features:

Chaos Mode: Customize game settings and access the overleveled spells. Push the limits, practice, and unleash chaos.
Corruption Tree: 20 permanent talents that make you even more lethal. (Talent number is currently rising and will be updated.)
35 Powerful Spells: Combinations of Chaos unlock 35 unique spells in total. Some talents affect the outcomes of certain spells.
5 Unique Orbs: 5 orbs mean 10 starting combinations, similar to having 10 different classes. Other than contributing to spells, each orb also has special auto-shooting abilities like knockback, life steal, and bouncing.
Secrets with their own enemies and bosses.
7+ unique bosses.
20+ unique items to be stronger in a different way each run.
10+ unique enemy types, and they all spawn with a weakness towards an orb that the player has.
Music coming straight from the Chaos for each minute and for each boss, increasing energy/stress/anxiety constantly.
All hand-drawn retro pixel art. Thanks to Dad for drawing almost every artwork.
