Echoes in the Deep - A Fateforge Tale is a hand-drawn narrative adventure set in the Fateforge Universe and its capital: Free City. With multiple paths and branching dialogue, play as Peridot Haps, a veteran Rogue surviving in the Free City, who’s planning one last heist. Make challenging decisions, manage your crew's loyalty and uncover the truth behind Peridot’s motives. The game is part of a self-contained RPG powered by an augmented 5E ruleset.


Featuring 8 unique locations, choose where to go above ground in Free City and below ground in the Netherworld. Progress the story to unlock new locations, characters and story paths.


In Echoes in the Deep - A Fateforge Tale, choices directly affect party loyalty. The decisions you take will result in your crew loving, liking, disliking or hating what you’ve done. The consequence? Their allegiance may waver, so will your dice rolls.


All actions are undertaken with a dice roll, and the items you equip and the loyalty of your crew impacts not only the success and failures of those rolls, but also the branching narrative.


Fateforge is a self-sufficient tabletop role-playing game using the 5e game system. Fateforge offers a new campaign setting for the 5th Edition, Eana, as well as additional rules to create and play characters in this universe. It presents the modular system, which allows to adapt the tone of one's campaign to the atmosphere they wish their story to evoke. The game won two ENNIES awards, one for Best Writing in 2022 for its first tetralogy (Adventurers, Grimoire, Creature, and Encyclopedia) and one for Best Monster / Adversary for Fateforge Book 5 - Creatures 2: Netherworld in 2023.
