Miksi Early Access?

We've been having a lot of fun developing Subterror, and right now you can have many hours of fun playing. We already have lots of ideas for what we would like to add in the future. As a team of 3 working on this part-time, we really want to hear what features the community wants, and prioritize those.

We plan for Subterror to be in Early Access for 3-5 months. This will allow us to reach the full vision we planned for the game. Depending on the feedback we get, this period may be extended.

We plan for the full version to have more maps, enemies, weather variants, equipment, and items. We will also do our best to track and fix any bugs that players may encounter along the way.

The current version supports up to 4 players and features a server browser, save files, in-game voice chat, 6 biospheres, 8 enemies, 3 procedurally generated facility variants, 3 weather variants, 6 pieces of equipment purchasable from the shop, and 16 different items that can be found within the facilities.

We will be reading discussion posts and using feedback to prioritize what content is added in future updates. We also love watching playthroughs and live streams of the game, which we have already used to influence the development process.
