«Red Rampant is in early access. Its development and subsequent releases are tied to the game’s narrative and episodic structure. Currently Day 1 and the beginnings of Day 2 are playable, constituting the first rewind loop and a proof of concept for the game’s central themes and mechanics. Next steps include a visual and animation overhaul alongside implementation of the combat system.

Beyond this, there are concrete plans for the next dozen days of the story and realisation of these future episodes depend on reception of the game and securing further support. The episodic structure was chosen because it suits the story we wish to tell and allows the game to grow sustainably. As the story progresses, each episode elevates in scale and scope with the aim of building momentum behind the project.

«The full version is planned to have a massive graphical overhaul of the characters and their animations. We aim to upgrade our Combat mechanics to enhance player control and combat challenge. Other goals include new mechanics such as The Notebook - the player's menu screen in-game. Finally, general quality of life and performance improvements.»
