What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We are a team of 10 people, and Into the Wind is a large game with many systems and an open world. We want to share what is already great with the community, and receive your feedback to incorporate into the game as we polish up a 1.0 release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We cannot say for sure at this point, but we are counting on at least 1 year in early access. It very much depends on what kind of feedback we receive from the community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The early access release includes a rich experience with all the core mechanics and a lot of story content, but the main story line can not yet be completed, and we have plans to make certain systems of the game deeper and have more choices in how you play the game.

The full release will see the completion of the game's main story, as well as expand on, add to, and deepen systemic gameplay in the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“You can drive, fly, deliver, decorate your base, upgrade your bike, deepen relationships with crew members, do a bunch of quests, explore the islands, and progress a fair bit into the main story of the game.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We don't have any concrete plans, but a final decision is to be made further on.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to hear your feedback either here on Steam, or even better, directly actively on our Discord server. We want to hear all what you have to say so that we can incorporate that feedback into the 1.0 release and beyond.”

About This Game

Drive, fly, and run deliveries together with your sentient motorcycle-plane, Ermes. Make friends, battle rowdy air pirates, upgrade your bike, decorate your home, explore the islands of Santa Rosa, and solve the mystery of your uncle's disappearance.

It's time to build a new life, far away from the mainland, out here among the aviation crazy, freedom loving islanders and sky pirates!

Drive, fly, deliver

Easy to pick up and deep in skill expression, we've spent a lot of time tuning Ermes to feel both physical and arcadey. Cargo has weight, and fuel matters. Roads, shortcuts, weather, wind, and bad landings are all part of the journey.

Earn money, upgrade your bike, expand your business

Carry out deliveries all over the islands: some delicate that have to be handled with care, others heavy that make going up (or down) hill more difficult. Doing jobs earns you resources you use to upgrade Ermes, allowing you to take on more challenging deliveries and adventures.

Make the world your own

Between deliveries, you can customize both yourself and Ermes, and decorate and furnish your home and the base of your crew. Decorations need to be delivered back to base: each little thing has to be earned. Depending on what you bring back, and where you place it, you and your crew will get bonuses that help you progress further in the game.

Friendships and a mystery to solve

Your uncle Umberto went missing while investigating a mysterious cloud in the skies above Santa Rosa. By making deliveries, getting to know your crew, and learning more about Santa Rosa and its inhabitants, you can take on the quest of figuring out what happened to him.

Welcome to Santa Rosa

The world of Santa Rosa is a nostalgic and idyllic version of an archipelago in the Adriatic sea. Step into a vintage post card that smells of Italy: small villages, scenic routes, cafés that overlook the water, people needing their packages delivered, and a suspicious amount of flying pirates all coexist here.
