Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

Note: Games in Early Access are not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development. Learn more

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

Why Early Access?

Because MONEY.

…Okay, half kidding.

It’s a way to supercharge development. Player feedback will fuel the game’s evolution, spark new ideas, and help build the kind of community I’ve always dreamed of — one that celebrates the good, the bad, and the “OH GOD WHY” moments together.

Early Access means I can start that beautiful feedback loop today:

You play.

You tell me what works and what sucks.

I improve it.

We all win.

So if you choose to support Mozentum now, know this: you’re helping a van-dwelling game dev live his highest dream — and in return, I’ll give you my all to make this the most fun, strange, and satisfying game it can be.

TL;DR: My real goal = make art, build community, and bring Mozentum to life with you.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I don't know the exact time-frame, but I'm working ACTIVELY to have Mozentum out of EA by Q3 this year (so around August), with plenty of sexy updates along the way.

But if you're a software-dev of any kind, you'd probably know the rule “Take your best estimate, double it, add a buffer—then you're close.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I’m aiming for the full version of Mozentum to feel like a richer, more complete world to explore and play in. My current plans include expanding on:
[] Interactivity – more ways to engage with the environment and NPCs.[] Movement Customization – finer control over your movement style and abilities.[] Character Customization – more visual and functional ways to make your character your own.[] World Size – larger, more varied areas to explore.[] Moment-to-Moment Fluidity – smoother gameplay flow and more responsive controls.[] Worldbuilding – deeper lore, atmosphere, and hidden details.

I’d also like to explore adding brand new systems, such as:
[] Multiplayer – the option to explore and experiment with friends.[] Combat – new ways to interact with the world and its challenges.
  • Van-Life – customising your own mobile base and sharing it with others.

The goal is for Early Access updates to steadily grow the scope and depth of the game, bringing it closer to this vision — while also leaving room for community feedback to shape where it goes next.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, the player can explore and experiment and with the movement and current implemented systems.

There will be secrets and a good chunk of the map to explore with more features and content on the way!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Mozentum's price will go up upon the full-version's release. Early Access benefits baby!”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I want your feedback EVERYWHERE you can give it, and I will always do my best to get back to you in some form or another through:
YouTube,
Discord,
Steam,
On the Street,
ANYWHERE.
The community will be an essential part of uncovering Mozentum's Secret mechanics and the depths of its delightful deliciousness.”

About This Game

BIG FAT PREFACE

Hello you!

It’s early days for Mozentum.

Until this preface is removed, please know: you’re buying an unfinished experience… but one that I’ll be working on with every ounce of spare time I have.

For the foreseeable future, I’m committing to:

  • Delivering a profound, expressive movement adventure with fortnightly (sometimes weekly… even daily) updates.

  • Providing full support — responding quickly and patching issues as soon as I can.

  • Making this thing as damn good as it was destined to be.

If you’ve purchased Mozentum this early — thank you. You’re helping me live my dream.

And yes… there will be hidden prizes for early players.

GAME DESCRIPTION

I want to spark that childlike sense of play and exploration in you.
Nothing more.
Nothing less.

Movement — But Really Good

I’ve built a movement system with:

  • Procedural grabbing

  • Swinging

  • Mouse-based pulling power

The skill ceiling is ridiculously high — from mo(z)entum-based vaulting and unique sliding to diving, wallrunning, and more.

[GIF of vaulting into a slide]

Soon, you’ll be able to tweak power values and expand your skill list. If you find yourself addicted to swinging around for no reason, I’ve done my job.

The World

[Image of a wide, strange landscape]
It’s a big, weird world — and you’re oh so small.
Filled with:

  • Strange objects

  • Stranger people

  • …and incense (lots of incense)

Open-mindedness is king, young Jedi.

Expect:

  • Tools & trinkets

  • Beings who love giving unsolicited advice

  • New skills

  • Sick digs (clothes)

  • Maybe even enlightenment

Themes & Vibes

Alchemy.
Spirituality.
Zen.
The importance of huffing incense twice daily.
(Also… Max Derrat, if you’re reading this, I love you.)

Roadmap & Future Plans

Mozentum’s scope will grow over time:

  • More quirky NPCs

  • More interactivity

  • More skills

  • Possible multiplayer

  • Van-life features (build your van, stink it up)

  • Equipment (climbing gear, physics grapples, etc.)

[GIF of multiple movement tricks chained together]

Updated All the Time

This game is my baby. I will update it constantly and give you everything I’ve got.

PLEASE GIVE ME FEEDBACK.

  • I’ll reply directly whenever I can.

  • All feedback is good feedback — just keep it clean, clear, and constructive.

I’ve gone through countless trials, broken builds, and total wipeouts to get Mozentum into your hands. It’s been made on a $900 laptop by a guy living full-time in a van.

So… be ready.

The developers describe the content like this:

Game's pretty chill. The worst that'll happen is you'll fight baddies and they'll eventually die, or maybe you'll hear me talk about the subject of sex as a conversational topic.
