Story

Originally an adventurer in a medieval fantasy world, Daiya encounters an unexpectedly strong enemy during a monster hunt. Just as she wants to activate her teleportation spell to safely return to town, she gets interrupted by the monster! Both her and the enemy suddenly get transported to the world of Kabukicho, a place set at the time of the last century.
Having no documents, no identity in this foreign world, Daiya is thankful to be offered a home by a Chinese exile called Kobeni. Having nowhere else to go, Daiya starts living in Kabukicho as a stateless person. Will she be able to find the monster that interrupted her teleportation spell?
Will she be able to defeat it and return to her own world?

Mechanics

All background graphics are based on Kabukicho’s real-life layout and setting, with adjustments by the game’s developer to create a better sense of immersion.

Inspiration

I, the game’s developer, came to Japan in 2022, renting a room in the red-light district of Kabukicho because I couldn’t find another place to live. For the first time in my life, I experienced the atmosphere of a red-light district and the big city flair – a wholly new experience from having grown up on the countryside.
If I can convey even just a little bit of the fun of Kabukicho via this game, then its creation will have been meaningful to me.

The content of the game is purely fictional. The developer is not a beautiful girl with white hair who has reincarnated into another world.
