Usually when you wake up in your live/work cubicle to the soothing sounds of guided meditations, everything is great.

Your console is ready, your food pellets taste fresh, your bean bag chair is plump. You’re ready for the first day of your unpaid internship. But today something feels wrong. The guided meditation doesn’t feel the same when you’re receiving urgent messages warning you not to listen to it. The first day of your unpaid internship feels less exciting when you’re reminded that it’s been the first day, every day, for years now. Are your food pellets even that fresh? Is your bean chair even that plump?

It might be time to wake up from this capitalist fever dream disguised as a corporate wellness meditation.
